Build a Better Exhaust System with Vibrant Performance Dual In-Out Mufflers

If you need a dual-in/dual-out muffler for a custom exhaust system or to replace a factory muffler (many European vehicles come stock with them), Vibrant Performance makes really nice ones. Made from 304 stainless steel, the mufflers have two straight-through perforated tubes that are individually wrapped with stainless wire mesh and high temperature, fiberglass/ceramic composite packing material. The design is much less restrictive than baffled mufflers. That means more exhaust flow plus a deep tone with minimal drone.

Build a Better Suspension with FK JMX/JMXL Series Rod Ends

When it comes to building a custom suspension, rod ends have it over ordinary bushings (even the solid ones). They’re stronger, offer a much wider range of adjustment, and provide nearly zero deflection so those suspension adjustments stay put. They’re a win-win-win for racing, rock crawling, and other off-road pursuits. 

And you can’t get a better rod end than FK JMX/JMXL Series Rod Ends. These three-piece rod ends have heat-treated steel alloy bodies with zinc-plated and chromate-treated races for corrosion resistance. The balls are hard chrome-plated 52100 steel for excellent wear and durability. Some JMX/JMXL ends are made with a self-lubricating PTFE liner that is chemically bonded to the inner diameter of the race. The liner offers a very high load carrying capacity and greatly increased dynamic wear characteristics. PTFE liners also eliminate the need for grease fittings that attract dirt and weaken the end.

A Boninfante Friction Flexplate Can Handle the Power Your Engine Puts Out

The large amount of force exerted by a high torque starter when turning an engine over creates considerable strain on a flexplate. The strain becomes even greater when the engine packs heaps of compression or puts out loads of power. This can cause cracking, rounded off ring gear teeth, and even starter damage—all of which is enough to put an end to your day before it begins. 

A flexplate also transfers power to the driveline. In high performance and racing applications, this means it must prevent the torque converter from ballooning too much and pushing the thrust bearings out of the engine. Further, the flexplate must be perfectly balanced to keep the engine happy when spinning at high RPMs. That’s a lot of responsibility for a thin piece of metal. 

A Boninfante Friction Flexplate can eliminate all these issues. They are made from very strong materials so they are durable enough to withstand as much power as you can send their way.

Make Your S650 Mustang Sound as Good as It Performs with an AWE Tuning Exhaust System

You could make a good argument that the 2024 S650 Mustang GT—especially the 500 horsepower Dark Horse version—is one of the powerful and well-balanced Mustangs Ford has ever built. But like all cars, the S650 can be made even better. Replacing the factory exhaust system with an AWE Tuning system is a case in point.
