High compression engines need a starter with a lot of torque to kick them to life. Powermaster XS Torque and Mastertorque gear reduction starters make plenty of torque to turn over engines making 14:1 or even 18:1 compression. And they do it reliably, start after start.

Powermaster XS Torque and Mastertorque starters also have adjustable mounting blocks so you can clock them to clear most headers and kickout-style oil pans. Powermaster even dyno-tests each starter to make sure it produces the cranking torque you expect.

Nitrous Express Direct Port Nitrous Oxide Systems are the Better Way to Feed Nitrous to Your 5.0L Coyote

Just like direct fuel injection helps your Ford Coyote make big horsepower, a nitrous oxide system that sprays nitrous and fuel directly into the cylinders can help it make even bigger amounts of power. Nitrous Express Direct Port systems feed equal amounts of nitrous and fuel to each cylinder to add 100 to 300 horsepower without worrying about a cylinder going too rich or too lean.

The Nitrous Express kits come with two billet aluminum plates that fit between the intake manifold and the cylinder heads. Nitrous and fuel run through fittings in the plates so they are injected directly in the cylinder head intake ports. You tailor the horsepower level with jets that are installed in the fittings. And since the plates are just 5/8-inch thick, you won’t have to run a taller aftermarket hood.

Keep Your 1959-63 Impala Nice and Cool with a Griffin Performance Fit Radiator or Combo

You’ll have no issues keeping that big 1959-63 Impala running cool with a Griffin Performance Fit Radiator or Radiator Combo. The aluminum radiator features a MegaCool core with two rows of 1.25-inch induction-welded tubing that Griffin says provides a 25% engine temperature drop compared to the factory radiator. Griffin even went through the trouble of designing the radiator with extra clearance on the lower driver’s side to make room for an aftermarket power steering box. That’s a thoughtful touch.

You can get the radiator by itself or in a combo that includes dual 12-inch diameter fans rated at 1,700 CFM of airflow, an aluminum shroud, a temperature sensor, wiring harness, and a radiator cap. The fan and shroud come already mounted to the radiator—all you have to do is bolt it in, connect some hose and wires, and you’re ready to beat the heat.

The Griffin Performance Fit Radiator and Radiator Combo fit Impalas with a straight-six, small block V8, or 348-409 V8 and an automatic transmission. You may have to modify brackets and trim the factory fan shroud if you retain it, but that’s a lot easier than trying to get the wrong radiator to work.
