Ross Racing piston oil ring spacers are used in applications where the piston oil ring groove intersects the pinhole. They can be used only in pistons that have the oil ring groove machined 0.030 in. wider than the oil ring. They are manufactured from spring steel and install against the bottom sill of the oil ring groove.
