EMPI 40mm HPMX Single Carburetor Kits

For those that choose ease of maintenance along with performance gains, EMPI 40mm HPMX single carburetors are the set-up of choice. For the basic 1,600 to 1,800cc, these kits are the "torquey" option. The 40mm HPMX carbs have butterflies drilled for smooth idling, and a selection of jets are available if your application requires further "dialing in". Complete kits feature aluminum center-section manifold, aircraft-style heim joint linkage, chrome air cleaner with gauze element, gaskets, and hardware. Fits Type 1 1600cc based upright engines. EMPI 40mm HPMX single carburetor kits are dual port, and fit Type 1.
