Davis Unified Ignition race coil kits are capable of 10,000 rpm--that's almost twice the output of a stock HEI coil! The higher voltage output of these coil kits allows you to widen your spark plug gap up to .055 in. The wider plug gaps allow major spark energy into the combustion chamber for a better burn of the fuel mixture and increased horsepower. Due to the high-voltage output of the coils, a burn-through resistant brass terminal rotor is included, as well as nylon rotor screws to prevent misfires at extreme rpm.
