There is a possibility that the distributor housing could interfere with the thermostat housing of your engine. Davis Unified ignition housings are made with a beveled edge and will allow the distributor to seat in the block with plenty of clearance. They are custom-calibrated on a distributor machine and blueprinted to provide maximum power, torque, and instant throttle response. DUI tunes the centrifugal advance using information about the vehicle and engine such as cam duration and lift, carburetor size, compression ratio, vehicle weight, and fuel octane.
