There is a built in alarm clock function with sleep timer and Sangean's Humane Wake System (HWS) with buzzer or radio alarm. PR-D4Ws have a convenient auxiliary input and a stereo earphone jack. PR-D4W controls are very easy to use and include 25 presets; 10 for FM, 10 for AM and 5 for weather channels.

With Sangean's adjustable RF Bandwidth Narrowing technology (usually found in more expensive and professional multiband receivers) you'll notice improved selectivity on all your AM and FM stations. By adjusting the bandwidth, you're able to reduce neighboring-station interference, getting clearer reception while receiving signals in bad RF environments.

Sangean's PR-D4Ws include an AC adapter, but may be operated from six "C" cells, not included. When operated with the AC adapter these Sangean PR-D4W radios put out a resounding 800 mW!
