Featuring a 5 lb. slide hammer to help bust loose even the most stubborn sleeves, OTC universal pullers, in most cases, will average less than 2 minutes per cylinder in job time.

The cone adjustment positions the puller jaws quickly, and locking bar is tightened. To aid in breaking "frozen" sleeves loose, the adjustable bridge is positioned on the cylinder block and the bearing-mounted forcing nut is tightened. Next, the bridge is removed, and the slide hammer assembly is attached. With a few sharp hammer blows, sleeve is pulled. OTC universal pullers' adjustable jaws fit sleeves with a diameter of 3 in. to 6 1/2 in.
