MSD Starter Savers reduce the stress on your starter and flywheel. Designed just for race engines with locked-out timing, the controllers automatically retard the timing during cranking to prolong the life of your starter. They feature 10 and 20 degree retard settings, and automatically deactivate when your engine reaches over 800 rpm. The Starter Savers also stabilize the trigger signal, and have an LED to confirm operation. They work with magnetic pickups only.
