Max Papis Innovations' GT Model is a multifunctional steering wheel, ideal for Road Course, Track Days, Touring Car, GT, SXS, and (weatherproof) UTV applications. The inner structure has been engineered to deform under elevated impacts, safely absorbing the load and reducing the effect on the driver's upper body. The inner foam injection has been developed to have the highest vibration absorption rate in the industry. The special oval shaped grip makes holding the wheel a natural feel for the driver. The new aluminum D-shaped structure features a unibody with no horn button for increase rigidity and durability—and a flat bottom for extra leg room and easy exit, adding a sporty look to the unit. Two different covering materials, Suede and Pixel, are offered—both with the MPI Orange center marker. The selected suede covering and its parallel MPI Orange hand-stitched finish provide a very high grip feel, reducing the effort needed to hold the wheel while increasing driver feeling. It's a preferred material for track and tuning use. The full black version features black suede, black stitching, and black MPI marker, giving the evergreen "NERO" look that's suitable for any vehicle color combination. The Pixel (PX) covering is an extreme weather, washable material; and its MPI Orange crossed stitching is a preferred material for outdoor and off-road usage.
