Most modern transmission fluids have a few things in common: better heat and oxidation resistance, better shear stability so that the fluid doesn't lose viscosity over time, and a lower coefficient of friction needed for locking torque converters on modern cars. Lucas Multi-Vehicle ATF satisfies all these requirements; however, many cars and pickup trucks now use ATF that has a lower viscosity than traditional fluid, providing marginally better fuel economy.

Lucas Oil Low Viscosity Synthetic Multi-Vehicle automatic transmission fluid is blended from premium API Group III synthetic base oils, combined with shear-stable viscosity modifiers and a high-quality additive package that includes anti-wear, anti-oxidants and corrosion inhibitors.
