Designed for severe-duty use, DEI ONYX Series starter heat shields offer the highest level of protection. They are constructed of two layers of material—a highly reflective outer layer combined with a high-heat inner layer, and are able to withstand direct heat up to 1,350 degrees F making them a wise choice for high-heat applications where engine heat soak is a problem. DEI ONYX Series starter heat shields feature a hook-and-loop Velcro® fastening system and can be trimmed to size for a perfect fit.
