Idle air control valves go bad because of excessive carbon buildup in the intake manifold. Crown Automotive replacement idle air control valves are built to control and maintain a consistent engine idle speed when the car is cold or extra load is put on the engine, such as the A/C or radio. When the valve malfunctions, the idling speed is no longer regulated, and your engine may stall. Check the applications for the proper fitment of these Crown IAC valves and automatic idle speed (AIS) motors.
