COMP Cams Crankshaft Stroke Gauge Stands

Save valuable time during engine assembly and tuning with COMP Cams crankshaft stroke gauge stands. They are designed to work with various engine types and can be used with dial calipers, making them a valuable and versatile tool for engine builders. These units do the same job as the more expensive stroke gauges, except that they use a set of 0-6 in. dial calipers (not included) instead of a long range dial indicator. Just set it up on the crankshaft main journals, zero the calipers at the top of the rod journal, then rotate the crank to the bottom of the stroke and take your reading to .001 in. You can even use this versatile tool on assembled short blocks by zeroing the calipers on the piston at TDC and measuring down to BDC. Show Less
