Baileigh Industrial DP-1250VS drill presses have a wide column for extra support—to reduce flexing during heavy drilling sessions at maximum capacity, which is 1 1/4 in. diameter mild steel. They have a powerful, inverter-driven head that's controlled through a speed potentiometer dial and digital readout for displaying actual quill rpm.

The drill presses feature a quality auto-reversing tap feature and use a heavy #4 Morse Taper to transfer power from the spindle to the quill. To further the rigidity, the base and table are made of a heavy casting with very large T-slots to secure a vise or material. The base includes a powerful coolant system that sprays out at the quill behind a quality splash and safety guard. This coolant system increases drill bit and tap life.
