ATK High Performance GM 496 Stroker 600 hp Stage 1 long block crate engines are designed for street/strip use, so expect big power with a rough idle. They require an electric fuel pump. ATK Stage 1 or base engines are designed for those that may have their own component parts already, and who also are interested in completing out the build themselves.
