The RevMax custom coated transmission pump plates are a must-have part on any 68RFE rebuild. The factory plate is typically found to have excessive grooving in it and should always be replaced during an overhaul. These custom laser-cut steel alloy plates are heat-treated to insure flatness and hardness and are then finished with RevMax's proprietary friction reducing and self-lubricating electrostatically applied coating. This special coating reduces pump wear from the pump gears by decreasing surface friction and increasing lubrication during dry startups. These plates will work with all factory pumps regardless of
