EPAS Performance electric power steering kits provide modern power steering for your classic car. These performance systems are available to outfit a wide range of vintage and classic vehicles from 1920-1980. An easy step-by-step installation manual is available online for each of the kits that EPAS offers. EPAS Performance Hydroelectric Pump System Kits
EPAS Performance's Hydroelectric Pump System has a program that works with an angle sensor and CAN protocol. The converter talks to the pump via the angle sensor, ramping up the system's pressure as needed. There is no noticeable delay or drop in pressure when input at the steering wheel is exerted. This steering conversion kit includes 6 ft. of high-pressure sending hose, 6 ft. of low-pressure return hose, and the power cords are 10 ft. in length. An oil cooler can be added for racing applications. The wiring harness is essentially plug-and-play, and only requires a hot ignition source and full battery power. System draw is anywhere between 1 amp to 45 amps, spending most of its time in the lower amp range. UMI Performance bolt-in Viking rear coilover kits allow full ride height, spring rate, and damping adjustability. The double shear upper mount is a direct bolt-in and holds a true 2.5 in. diameter coilover spring. The FEA designed lower bracket bolts in using the standard shock mounting hole as well as an additional reinforcement hole. Drilling one 3/8 in. hole per side is required to complete installation. The coilover kits utilize Viking shocks that are 19-way adjustable in both compression and rebound to ensure the perfect setting for every application. Viking shocks are fully rebuildable. The 2.5 in. diameter coilover springs are available in 14 in. long, 110 lb. spring rate for drag use; 14 in. long, 125 lb. spring rate for street use; and 12 in. long, 150 lb. spring rate for autocross and road race applications.
