Davis Unified Ignition street/strip coil kits are capable of 7,000 rpm! The higher voltage output of these coil kits allows you to widen your spark plug gap up to .055 in. The wider plug gaps allow major spark energy into the combustion chamber for a better burn of the fuel mixture and increased horsepower. Due to the high-voltage output of the coils, a burn-through resistant brass terminal rotor is included, as well as nylon rotor screws to prevent misfires at extreme rpm. D.U.I. race coils are installed in your choice of colors, including a cool clear style so you can watch the sparks fly.

They have more electronic dwell than your stock, so the coil saturates longer and produces a more intense spark. Dyna-modules are available in different pin quantities to meet your application, and mount easily on the side of your distributor housing with minimal wiring. Davis Unified Ignition Crossfire Street/Strip Coils
Davis Unified Ignition now offers the Crossfire Street/Strip coils with the Crossfire distributor cap. This distributor and Crossfire cap combo keeps your engine bay clean, and plug wires neat, which is perfect for show cars, weekend race cars or an everyday driver. The Crossfire D.U.I. caps are designed to route the plug wires in numerical order to each side of the engine by corresponding all odd cylinders to the left side of the cap and all even cylinders to the right side. This eliminates any wire crossing, preventing arcing from one wire to the next. The Crossfire distributor cap is only available in a black finish but can be painted to match your engine compartment theme. And as with the standard Street/Strip D.U.I. you get the same high-voltage coil, high-dwell module, and performance advance curve—but with the sleek look of your plug wires being well-organized.
