BMR Suspension billet aluminum vertical links enable your performance car to launch harder, reduce wheel hop, and add cornering consistency! Stock stamped steel vertical links with soft rubber bushings deflect under load and absorb power instead of transferring it to the tires. By contrast, BMR's Delrin® vertical links are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. This design gives you a strong control arm that greatly improves performance with zero deflection and loads of adjustability—helping you to excel in street performance, drag race, and road race applications. The stock vertical links flex under cornering loads giving you inconsistent handling characteristics. Combine this with soft bushings that have massive amounts of deflection, and you're left with poor performance. BMR's heavy-duty construction eliminates vertical link flex for much improved performance.

Additionally, BMR Suspension vertical link bushings are upgraded aftermarket suspension components designed to replace the soft factory rubber bushings in the rear vertical links of modern performance vehicles (most commonly Ford Mustangs).By connecting the rear spindle to the lower control arm, these upgraded bushings prevent the suspension flex and wheel hop commonly experienced during aggressive launches or hard cornering.

The core problem they solve:

* Factory vertical links are often stamped from thin steel and use soft rubber bushings. Under heavy loads (like drag racing or track driving), these components compress and deflect. This deflection causes the rear wheel alignment to shift, resulting in:
-- Wheel hop: The rapid skipping and vibration of the rear tires under hard acceleration
-- Inconsistent handling: The car feels "squirrely" or unpredictable in corners and under hard braking

How the upgraded bushings work:

* BMR replaces the soft, yielding rubber with stiffer, high performance materials. This eliminates unwanted give, ensuring that power is transferred directly to the tires rather than being absorbed by the suspension. BMR offers these in a few different materials depending on the driver's goals:
-- Polyurethane: The most popular choice for street-driven cars. They are stiffer than rubber but usually include internal grease channels to prevent squeaking, offering a great balance of performance and comfort without adding cabin noise
-- Delrin®: A very hard, rigid plastic used primarily for track, drag, and road racing. It completely eliminates flex for maximum traction but can introduce minor noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) into the cabin
-- Spherical bearings: Metal-on-metal bearing replacements that allow the suspension to articulate smoothly and bind-free without any deflection whatsoever
