RevMax billet high performance towing/HD valve bodies for a variety of applications, including many Dodge and Ram trucks from the early 2000s and up. The V2.0 is 1 in. thick, but this new version has precision cutouts that allow the use of a stock filter and pan. Unlike other designs, full depth worm tracks in crucial circuits are included. Other competing designs have only a .190 in. deep worm track in several critical circuits. One restricted circuit is the combined vent track, responsible for all venting operations and in particular the problematic SSV valve. The next restricted circuit is the torque converter clutch signal circuit. Restrictions in this circuit create all kinds of torque converter related concerns, including dragging when coming to a stop, overheating, soft or harsh TCC apply or release, and back feed issues resulting in P1776 and P0871 trouble codes. Both the original and V2.0 have nearly full depth worm tracks in these areas which eliminate problem issues! The V2.0 plate will work with ANY aftermarket transmission pan, as well as with stock transmission pans. There is no need to alter any part of the pan or use special filters. Just install it like you would a stock channel plate and go. Order the model recommended for your year/make and transmission application. The OEM part has restrictive internal passages; and when the OEM valve fails in the open position, transmission fluid doesn't reach your cooler. This can be caused by mechanical failure or debris. The result of stock valve failure can cause the transmission to dangerously overheat. Without properly cooled transmission fluid, the demands of towing and rigorous stop-and-go driving conditions shorten the life of transmission components. This PPE bypass valve eliminates the mechanical valve—which maximizes fluid flow from the transmission cooler. For further protection, a Neodymium magnet-equipped service plug has been added. The removable plug traps ferrous debris and can be accessed to remove particles from the system. The factory part does not have this feature. TransGo's fully CNC-machined overdrive pressure plates will allow you to quickly and easily add extra capacity to the overdrive clutch pack. The pressure plates are a direct fit for the OEM drum. Consequently, there is no need for you to spend a small fortune on an aftermarket drum. When using this TransGo pressure plate, you can add two overdrive fricitions for single-sided application and one overdrive friction for double-sided application. For the single-sided friction setup, like in the 68RFE, the new stack up yields a 15 percent increase in surface area. Alternatively, for double-sided friction setup, like in the 545RFE, the end result is a 25 percent increase in surface area.
