These organized units allow your spark plug wires to be routed in numerical sequence—with wires for the left bank of the engine all exiting on the left side of the distributor in order, and the right bank wires exiting to the right side. No wires criss-cross anywhere, making your engine bay look clean and orderly, while eliminating the possibility of arcing between plug wires.
