By any calculation, 1966 was a momentous year for the GTO. The original muscle car had come into its own in persona and popularity. It even became a separate series featuring the hardtop, pillared sports coupe, and convertible. The GTO's all-new body incorporated Coke-bottle side styling and a recessed backlight, with sail panels that provided a semi-fastback appearance. Graduating from the tough, boxy street brawler look of 1965, the '66 was refined with integrated shapes. Its front bumper became an integral part of the nose, closely following the curves of the newly sculpted split grilles and headlamp bezels. Parking lamps were set into the grilles à la the 1963 and 1964 Grand Prixes, and the grilles were blacked out--a muscle car styling cue that Pontiac initiated on the GTO in 1964 and would be used by much of its competition going forward. This 1:18 scale 1966 Pontiac GTO Restomod diecast model includes a killer custom paint job, black Street Fighter wheels and tires, plumbed and wired engine, folding front seats, fully detailed chassis, poseable steering, and opening doors, trunk, and hood. This is something you do not miss adding to your muscle car collection!

As you know, Pro-Touring cars are built to be driven—driven on the street, on the race track, on the drag strip, through cones at an auto-cross. No matter the setting, Pro-Touring cars are meant to be driven. Of course, that leaves quite a bit to interpretation, as it doesn't necessarily appeal to everyone—and of course there's the old saying, "Don't race it if you can't afford to replace it." This awesome 1:18 scale 1965 Shelby GT350 replica is finished in stunning Deep Metallic Candy Maroon paint and sporting a silver metallic custom hood scoop and trunk lid. It features an all-black interior that gives this beast a menacing look! Features include opening doors, trunk, and hood; custom scoop hood, poseable steering; custom 18 in. wheels and tires; plumbed and wired engine; tilting front seats; detailed undercarriage; and serialized plate.

Tom Prock and Jay Howell formed one of the most interesting and successful drag racing partnerships of the late 1960s. At the time, Howell was working at the famed Logge Stamping Company overseeing their shop. Logge was a very large volume producer of drag racing chassis at that time—and along with all of their other projects, a guy named Tom Prock had a 1933 Willys that he wanted updated. Instead of going the standard direction, the guys put a Logge funny car chassis under it and were quickly informed by NHRA officials at their first event that the car was not legal to run there or anywhere in the gas classes due to said chassis. They raced the car here and there in 1968 on the match race circuit and then figured it was all done. Then the phone rang in early 1969 and the boys decided to hitch up with a couple of other gassers, load a nitro burning 426 Hemi into the front of their car and travel the country as "outlaw gassers." The F-Troop '33 Willys is legend for wild runs with Howell at the wheel. The car went into the 180s and in various interviews, Howell said that the thing was a complete handful to get down the track at those speeds. We can only imagine. This 1:18 scale Acme diecast model commemorates the legendary 1933 Gasser built and raced by Prock and Howell. A Limited Edition collectable, the car features opening doors, hood, and trunk; removable top and boot; poseable steering; plumbed and wired engine; tilting front seats; detailed undercarriage; and serialized plate.

Beauty and beast are a fitting description for this 1:18 scale 1969 Mach 1 that packs an R-code 428 Cobra Jet into a beautiful Aztec Aqua fastback body with black and gold stripes. One of only 34 finished in the Code E pastel shade, the Mach 1's production tally narrows down to a one-of-one with its option and equipment combination. More than just muscular looks, the Mach 1 package also added a special interior with high-back Comfort weave bucket seats, molded door panels, a rim-blow steering wheel, a console and wood-grain trim. For most of its 40 years, the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS454 LS6 has been doing exactly what it was built to do: tear up the drag strip. Along the way, it's become arguably the most famous drag racing Chevelle ever, capturing the SS/DA class record in 1972 and setting an elapsed time of 10:75 at 123 mph on the way to winning Top Eliminator 14 of 16 events at Bradenton Dragway in Florida in 1976. Purchased new by A/FX racer Bob Hamilton as a Valentine's Day gift to his wife, the big-block beast was soon spending its Sundays at the local drag strip with Hamilton at the wheel. Sponsored by AMT and dubbed "Red Alert," it began its long and extremely successful career in 1971, setting the SS/DA national record during the 1972 season and owning the track record at New Jersey's Island Dragway for over two years. Hamilton sold "Red Alert" in 1976 to racer Terry Carney who, in 1990, partnered with Bill and Jan Stephenson to reintroduce the car to a new generation of fans and a new career in popular nostalgia drag racing. The car has since run the quarter mile in the low tens at over 130 mph. A true drag racing legend in every sense, the "Red Alert" Chevelle has always been expertly maintained and remains in splendid condition. It is almost entirely as Hamilton raced it, retaining its original sheet metal and interior and most of its original Cranberry Red paint. This replica 1:18 scale 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle LS6 Red Alert drag car diecast model features opening doors, hood, and trunk; poseable steering; detailed interior; tilting front seats; 454 wired and plumbed engine; drag wheels and tires; diecast metal body; fully detailed chassis; and serialized license plate. The collector's car is one of only 600 produced. Own a piece of racing history!

1:18 scale 1965 Shelby GT350 Snake On A Plane diecast model honors Dave Steine's '65 Shelby GT350 that was scheduled for delivery via air freight to Romy Hammes Ford in South Bend, Indiana by Trans World Airlines. It was loaded onto a Boeing 707-331F freighter at the Los Angeles International Airport and jetted across the continent. Born May 18th, 1926 in East Los Angeles, John Mazmanian got his start in hot rodding at the ripe old age of 14, building a 1930 Model A coupe he'd procured for $25 in his junior high school auto shop class.
