Scat Forged Lightweight Crankshafts

Lightweight Scat crankshafts equal quicker rpm! They are made from the same strong aircraft-quality forging as standard-weight cranks, but have profiled counterweights for less weight. Scat lightweight crankshafts are perfect for engines wanting quicker rpm. These crankshafts feature profiled aero-wing counterweights and have straight shot and chamfered oil holes. They are nitride-hardened, with large radii on all journals for superior wear resistance, and use lightening holes in all rod throws. Scat forged lightweight cranks are CNC-machined for absolute tolerances and symmetry, offering ease of balance and a reduced rotating weight.

Scat Forged Standard Weight Crankshafts

Scat forged standard weight crankshafts are designed for street or race engines with substantially increased horsepower. These crankshafts are precision-ground, heat-treated, shot-peened, inspected, and micro-polished for superior tolerance control. Scat crankshafts are also nitride-hardened for superior wear resistance, have straight-shot and chamfered oil holes, and feature lightening holes in all rod throws. They also have a large radius on all journals for improved strength and wear resistance. Scat forged standard weight crankshafts are available in dozens of sizes and configurations for fitment on vehicles spanning seven decades.
