The base version of these camshafts is designed to work with stock rocker arms and quality performance solid lifters. This cam will have a rough, race car idle. It also requires pistons with valve reliefs for proper piston-to-valve clearance. Race Day LLR Series camshafts require intake and exhaust modifications for maximum flow. Headers, open or racing exhaust, racing intake systems, properly suited racing torque converter, and optimal rear axle ratios to achieve maximum performance.
