EMPI Piston and Cylinder Sets

The EMPI piston and cylinder sets offer benefits like hypereutectic pistons for long life and better heat handling, or forged pistons for high-performance applications requiring maximum strength and durability under extreme heat and pressure from turbochargers or nitrous. The hypereutectic pistons have excellent thermal reflective properties and minimal expansion, contributing to a long service life. Forged pistons and extra-thick cylinders are designed for high-stress environments like those found in turbocharged or nitrous-injected engines. Some sets are designed as a "slip-in" fit, requiring no machining for easier installation. Each set typically includes the piston rings, pins, and retaining clips for installation.
