Turbosmart Gen-V Pro-Gate electronic wastegates feature a Gen-V wastegate body, so you can be confident the mounting orientation will match your existing manifold and outlet hardware. Built on the successful class leading Gen-V Comp-Gate 50 architecture, these units have stellar flow capacity and heat handling characteristics, as well as unparalleled control. There are no springs or hoses and no boost reference signal, nor any of the limitations associated with any of them. Gone are minimum boost levels associated with base spring pressure or heat related issues with hoses. The BlackBox by Turbosmart is a dedicated electronic wastegate controller which can be used in cooperation with a range of factory, aftermarket, and Motorsport ECU's. Turbosmart StraightGate50 vacuum wastegates are zero-offset butterfly-style units that allow enormous flow and almost linear control, and unparalleled boost control throughout the entire operating range. These high-flowing wastegates are simple to use, and packed with performance, flow, and features. The zero-offset butterfly valves are subjected to exhaust drive pressure equally on both halves of the valve, which pivots centrally, resulting in a self-balanced valve against any drive pressure. This means less work is required to act against even the highest drive pressures, and a wider tuning window is possible, no matter how the valve is actuated.
