Z Automotive OBD2 Double Bypass Harnesses

2018+ Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep vehicles all have a new security module that renders the OBD2 port inoperable for all aftermarket devices and tuners. Z Automotive double bypass kits overcome that obstacle by installing a secondary OBD2 port in the trunk, bypassing the security module. The quick plug-and-play installation takes under 5 minutes—with no wire splicing or cutting. The double bypass harnesses will also work on 2011-17 Chargers/300s and 2015-17 Challengers, for those who want to relocate their Z Automotive devices to the trunk, freeing up the factory OBD2 port for their Diablo Sport / SCT / HP Tuners device.

Z Automotive Security Gateway Bypass Modules

All 2018+ FCA (Stellantis) vehicles are built with a Security Gateway Module (SGW) that prevents access to the vehicle from the OBD2 port by anything other than the dealer diagnostic tools. Simply locate and unplug the SGW module, and plug the SGW Bypass block in its place. The OBD2 port will then have full access for use by aftermarket devices such as Z Automotive's Tazer or BurnBox, tuning tools, and code readers. These modules are required for use in 2018 and up Grand Cherokees and Durangos.

Z Automotive AV Input Cable Kits

Z Automotive AV input cable kits allow you to add video inputs to the RA3/RA4 and UAQ/UAS radios. For use with a Tazer, these kits are required to feed video and audio into your factory Uconnect 8.4 in. screen. You can connect two independent sources--a DVD player, media player, front or side cameras, Wi-Fi mirror device (to mirror your phone's screen), etc. Notes: * Stereo RCA jacks for audio input, using the "CD" input that the Tazer will unlock. * Two independent RCA video inputs--the Tazer allows you to use either input on demand at any speed.
