Wilson Manifolds tapered carburetor spacers feature a computer-generated, variable-radius taper design that maximizes airflow through the carburetor and enhances air/fuel distribution for more horsepower. Part throttle performance and distribution are improved by redirecting the flow pattern created by the partially open throttle blades and gradually reducing the velocity of the air/fuel mixture entering the plenum. This allows for a smoother transition into each runner, as full throttle performance is improved by increased flow. These tapered spacers can increase flow through the carburetor or throttle body by as much as 110 cfm. Wilson Manifolds tapered carburetor spacers will increase torque, horsepower, and acceleration throughout the entire rpm range. Wilson Manifolds offers the most complete line of 4-hole tapered spacers in 390, 4150, 4500, Q-Jet, and 2-barrel adapters. Wilson Manifolds high-flow throttle bodies were developed using the latest computer modeling software and test equipment available to produce designs that yield the maximum flow per square inch of cross-sectional area. These units are designed to work with Wilson's line of billet spacers—they incorporate a tapered and radiused throttle bore, along with precisely machined progressive linkage, for smooth throttle operation. They also feature inward-opening throttle blades to eliminate directional influence caused by the blades. All throttle bodies are machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum on precision CNC machining centers for consistent quality and light weight. Most models feature brass throttle blades to control vibration and reduce thermal expansion. The throttle shafts are machined to decrease their cross-sectional area, which increases the actual cross-section available for airflow. Wilson Manifolds shear plates are designed to maximize the performance of engines using tunnel ram-style manifolds. Designed to help improve the signal to the carburetor and flatten the fuel curve, these plates are precision-machined from billet aluminum and are anodized for durability and corrosion resistance. Wilson shear plates incorporate a 5 degree taper into the bore to improve flow. They also feature a specifically sized anti-reversion groove machined into the bottom of the plates to help turn back reversion pulses. The extended portions of the plates also block reverse flow and help to atomize fuel for reduced puddling in the manifold. These 1/2 in. thick shear plates are available for 4150, 4500, and split Dominator carburetors.

Wilson Manifolds carburetor base gaskets are now available in a special energy-absorbing rubber material as well as a premium race-proven, paper-type material. This new rubber material is being introduced as a result of Wilson's extensive research and development programs ranging from dirt track racing to NHRA Pro Stock racing. Wilson has found that in many applications, isolating the carburetor from the engine harmonics can significantly improve carburetor performance and, ultimately, overall engine performance. These gaskets are precision-cut to fit Wilson Manifolds' lightweight spacer shape so that there is no obstruction to flow through the carburetor and/or spacer and no trimming required. They also include holes for Wilson Manifolds' locating dowel pins for the precise alignment of the gasket.

Nitrous Pro Flow manifold pressure relief valves provide the racer with the safest and best performing nitrous systems in the world. These reusable valves eliminate races lost at the line, since they immediately reset for small backfires. This keeps you on the track after a backfire, rather than having to replace a burst panel. Naturally aspirated engines can benefit as well, particularly when using O2 sensors, which often cause backfire upon engine shutdown. Wilson Manifolds compound angle tapered carburetor spacers incorporate the same attributes as the standard 4-hole tapered spacers. They also incorporate a compound angle mounting surface, which angles the carburetor down in the front and down to the driver side. This is ideal for applications such as Dirt Late Model racing, where the chassis is set up to maximize traction by keeping the driver side front corner up as high as possible. These spacers allow the carburetor to sit level, keeping the jets submerged and preventing fuel slosh into the engine and the loss of power when the chassis and engine are not level.
