Trick Flow® used advanced 3D solid modeling and CAD tools (plus a couple decade's worth of racing experience) to turn its track-proven Twisted Wedge® design into the potent Twisted Wedge® 11R 170 head. Trick Flow® Twisted Wedge® 11R 170 heads are a direct replacement for previous Twisted Wedge® heads and work with all Twisted Wedge®-specific pistons. New high-velocity, race-inspired CNC street ported runners have been optimized for today's popular bore and stroke combinations, and have a standard resolution surface finish for significant performance gains. The intake runners have been enhanced to increase airflow, and both intake and exhaust runners feature Trick Flow's® special CNC Street Ported treatment that combines premium-quality CNC machining with a standard resolution finish that's perfect for making more power. That's not all! Newly designed rocker arm shaft mounting bosses are stronger than the OE design, and larger diameter pushrod holes have been incorporated to accommodate 3/8 in. pushrods for use with flat tappet and hydraulic roller camshafts. Trick Flow® Track Heat® intake manifolds are precision CNC-machined from A319 aluminum to reduce weight and give your small block Mopar engine more power. The manifold's one-piece spider-type design with extended high-flow runners and raised plenum floor provide significant increases between 3,000 to 7,000 rpm--right where it's needed the most. Trick Flow® R-Series Intake Manifolds for Small Block Chevrolet
Trick Flow's R Series Intake Manifold is tailored around big cubic inch small block engines producing 600+ horsepower in the 3,500-7,500+ RPM range. Engineers at Trick Flow optimized the R Series intake for their Super 23® 230cc cylinder heads, but found it also performs extremely well on Trick Flow's Super 23® 215cc cylinder heads as well as other brand heads with 215cc and larger ports. The secret to the manifold's success is its CAD-optimized plenum and runner design. Trick Flow engineers incorporated a one-piece single plane, spider type design with a raised floor and a large open plenum, paying special attention to smooth airflow for equalized air and fuel distribution. The design was optimized to eliminate excess material where possible, but enough was left around the port openings so the manifold can be port matched and/or fully ported. Casting it in A319 aluminum keeps the weight low, and integral bosses cast into each runner can be drilled and tapped to accept nozzles for nitrous applications. To back up all the engineering and great features, Trick Flow dyno tested the R Series Intake Manifold to ensure it can propel you to the front of the pack!
