The Rock Jock ram assist tie rod clamp is a trick piece! In their quest to make installing ram assist steering on modern Jeeps easy, Rock Jock developed several components that provide easy-to-install solutions to get your ram mounted and get you on the trail. Each forged chromoly steel clamp features two mating CNC-machined halves for ease of installation. Common clamps on the market require you to remove and dismantle your tie rod to allow the clamp to be slid onto the tie rod tube. The two halves of these Rock Jock clamps simply install onto the tie rod in your vehicle as-is, and then the clamping bolts tighten them up! The clamps are specifically designed to work on common tie rod tubes and can be used universally in virtually any application (high-steer/low steer, stock height or lifted). Installation requires no modifications or machining to your existing tie rod. Finish is gloss black powdercoat and all necessary hardware is included. Upgrading your Jeep to a heavier tie rod, you are no longer able to mount the shock in its stock location on the passenger's side tie rod end and you are forced to move the shock entirely. Also, aftermarket axles are not equipped with the provisions for remounting the shock to the axle housing. Rock Jock Adjustable Front Bump Stops
Rock Jock adjustable front bump stops for JL/JT/JK front offer a completely different take on the concept of bump stops. So unique, in fact, that they were awarded SEMA's 2023 Best New Off-Road/4-Wheel Drive Product of the Year! In high-articulation situations, an axle housing mounted bump stop ends up rotating inward toward the center of the vehicle, often missing the upper bump stop entirely. By lowering the front bump stop, and being able to adjust its length, you're able to guarantee bump stop contact when and where you need it. These adjustable kits feature billet aluminum components and 5/16 in. thick steel shims that can be added and subtracted for fine-tuning while the bump stop assemblies are on the vehicle. You simply put a socket on the upper bolt to hold it in place, loosen the bump stop body with the supplied spanner wrench, add or subtract bump stop shims as needed, and then tighten the assembly back up! The vehicle's factory yellow bump stop cushions are retained and relocated by inserting them back into the bottom of the new aluminum Rock Jock bump stop bodies. This provides factory "feel" when the bump stops make contact. Finish is clear anodize on the aluminum and zinc plating on the spacers and bolts. Rock Jock High Steer Knuckle Kits for all Jeep JL and JT models is a game changer, packed with features that improve the off-road capabilities, as well as the on-road drivability of your vehicle! Intended for use on factory axles, these kits replace the inferior factory aluminum knuckles with cast iron high steer knuckles that exceed OEM quality and strength. They raise the tie rod 2 3/4 in. and the drag link 2 1/2 in., moving the rods out of the way of rocks and helping to restore factory steering geometry for improved drivability and overall road comfort on a lifted Jeep. The new knuckles also feature two adjustable steering stop locations for full lock-to-lock adjustability which helps ease the strain on steering components at full lock. Stock ball joints, unit bearings, axles, brakes and dust shields are all retained. Rock Jock's Currectlync steering included in these kits features revolutionary high articulation forged chromoly drag link that incorporates a unique organic shape with many compound curves—which can only be achieved via forging, resulting in maximum up-travel capabilities. The tie rod is a 42mm (1 5/8 in.) diameter chromoly tube. All Currectlync steering ends are forged steel and comparable in size to those found on modern 1-ton trucks.
