The newest designs incorporate custom-tuned lockup clutch dampers. These dampers soften the application of the lockup clutches while still resisting shudder. This softer apply is much gentler on the input shaft then traditional triple disc converters. These converters work best when paired with their diesel performance valve bodies. All Revmax Stage 4 converters are rated for approximately 700 to 750 horsepower and a maximum 1,500 ft-lbs. of torque.
