QA1 7Q Series Twin-Tube Shocks

QA1's rebuildable 7Q twin-tube shocks offer the performance, consistency and tunability racers demand. Formerly known as 70 series shocks, the QA1 7Q Series is a small body bearing mount shock. Racers can choose from 6 in. and 7 in. bodies, depending on rules and applications. The twin-tube design gives you a great feel for the track surface, making them a good fit for asphalt and dry slick dirt tracks. Small details add up to provide great overall performance. The black zinc coating ensures a very consistent finish, creating a tight seal every time. Pistons are made of high-quality raw aluminum, minimizing variations that can be found in anodized parts. You can valve the shock with bleed shims or drill out bleeds to maximize tunability. The QA1 7Q shocks offer the same proven performance of QA1's large-body shocks in a smaller package. The smaller outside diameter makes them great for lightweight classes or applications where packaging is an issue. Select the QA1 7Q Series twin-tube shock model for your application needs. Features: * Applications: Dwarf Cars, Mod Lites, Legends, or any low clearance application * Re-valve and rebuild the shocks in a matter of minutes using basic tools and available kits * The gland features relief cuts and a hyper screw port, making shocks easy to fill and bleed * An upgraded seal kit minimizes leaks—especially in high-rebound applications * The compression tube uses a slip fit design to simplify rebuilds * A laser-engraved, black-anodized closure nut to make serial numbers and valving easy to read at the track or in the shop. * Coilover compatible Note: You can use QA1's small steel body shocks in coil-over configurations with the appropriate kits (sold separately).

QA1 MOD Series Coilover Shocks

QA1 MOD Series coilover shocks put the ability to re-valve your shocks—on your car—into the palm of your hand. These innovative shocks feature QuickTune Technology, an industry-first that provides the ability to adapt to any track, any conditions, any time. The technology consists of interchangeable, dry modular valve pack assemblies, that can be thought of as dozens of finely tuned shocks you can hold in the palm of your hand. They define the valving curve of the shocks and can be changed without interrupting the oil pathways. Simply unscrew from the shock, bolt-in another one with a new pre-determined valving range—and you're ready to go. There's no mess, no contamination, no air intrusion, and no downtime waiting on someone to re-valve your shocks. Ideal for Circle Track and Street/Strip applications, the shocks are available in a variety of extended and collapsed length models to best fit your vehicle. Additional benefits and features of QA1 MOD Series shocks: * Design delivers force, control, and unmatched tenability * Hard anodized aluminum bodies with PTFE—durable, non-galling surface * Double-adjustable shocks with low-speed bleed adjustments * Large solid piston (with blow-off valve)—improved driver feel and control with up to 1,600 lb. force * High-speed valving adjustment (coarse adjustment)—relates to shock operation during impact events, like hitting a pothole or curb * 24 clicks/settings—wider range of adjustment than comparable shocks * Indexable base eyelet—multiple mounting position to optimize knob access and provide more mounting flexibility * Low-speed valving (fine-tune adjustments)—adjusts ride quality and weight transfer on corner entry/exit; more bleed for softer feel and less bleed for stiffer feel * Piggyback or remote canister options * Unique spring adjuster nut and tool * Thrust bearings included * Superior thermal performance, as oil is in constant contact with outer body * One base shock can be upgraded over time to keep up with increased performance levels of your vehicle

QA1 MOD Series Pro Coilover Systems

Don't be limited to adjustments! Completely re-valve in minutes with the QA1 MOD Series Pro coilover systems. Designed specifically to meet the demands required by today's high performance drag race and handling/pro-touring cars, QA1's multi-patent-pending MOD Series shocks will transform the way racers respond to changing track conditions and configurations. The key element to this tunability is QuickTune Technology: dry modular valve packs that can easily be swapped out, all while the shocks remain on the car. An industry first, MOD Series shocks can easily be re-valved without interrupting the oil path or opening up the shock for debris and air contamination. Medium compression and rebound valve packs come standard; soft or firm compression and rebound valve packs are also available. Once the desired valving is in place, the unique double-adjustable design (with adjustable low-speed bleed) allows for fully independent control over the compression and rebound characteristics. With all these adjustability options, MOD Series shocks achieve an expansive force curve capability and an unprecedented level of tunability. The shocks also feature mounting adjustability to accommodate a variety of vehicles and mounting configurations. The nitrogen-charged canister is available in a piggyback or remote configuration for ease of installation in tight areas, and the base eyelet is indexable, so you can unbolt and reattach it at the angle you need for the best shock and canister placement. Like all QA1 shocks, MOD Series coilovers are 100 percent dyno-tested and serialized. Order the kit recommended for your vehicle.
