They have special valving, which is designed to compensate for high shaft speed, while allowing for low shaft speed control. When combined with the 18 externally adjustable valve settings, they ensure an improved grip on the track from end to end. Other features include a bright-anodized aluminum body, PTFE-lined bearings or polyurethane bushings, a 5/8 in. centerless-ground chrome piston rod, and aerospace-caliber sealing materials.
