GearStar offers Level 2, 3, and 4 GM 200-4R performance transmissions, custom built by one of their master technicians from start to finish, then dyno tested with converter to the equivalent of 100 miles, ensuring the transmission and converter package is in perfect operating condition before leaving their facility.

GearStar GM 200-4R Level 2 transmissions deliver improved performance, a straightforward installation, and a surprisingly affordable price tag. A great replacement for an older 2-speed Powerglide or a 3-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic, you don't have to make major adjustments, plus the fourth gear lets the engine rotate at a lower rpm, reducing fuel consumption and wear and tear on the drivetrain. You can also change the larger rear axle ratios without affecting street-ability.
