Whatever your reason for choosing a bare engine block, Ford Performance Parts has a variety of V8 and turbocharged L4 block options to suit your needs.

  • Ford Performance Parts Boss 302 Engine Blocks—Designed as a replacement for Boss 302 and 351 blocks, Ford Performance Parts Boss 302 bare blocks combine classic design with the benefits of modern manufacturing techniques. Each block is cast from diesel-grade iron with siamesed bores and thick cylinder walls and decks. They are available in standard and big bore versions that support engine sizes up to 363 c.i.d.

  • Ford Performance Parts 351 Aluminum Windsor Engine Blocks—Featuring cast iron sleeves and available in 9.2- or 9.5-inch deck heights, 351 aluminum Windsor engine blocks employs a user-friendly design that is compatible with conventional Windsor components like cams, timing chains, timing chain covers, oil pans, and oil pumps. Both versions are cast from high strength 356-T6 grade aluminum and use splayed, 4-bolt, steel main caps on number 2-3-4 main bearings.

  • Ford Performance Parts Boss 351 C.I.D. Engine Blocks—These diesel-grade cast iron blocks are based on the Windsor 351 architecture with Cleveland-sized 2.749 in. main bearing journals. Also available in deck heights of 9.2 and 9.5 inches, they feature 4-bolt main caps, splayed main bolts, siamesed bores, and other modern features. The blocks support displacements up to 460 c.i.d.

  • Ford Performance Parts 5.0L Cast Iron Boss Engine Blocks—Featuring a 4.6L deck height and 94mm cylinder bores, this block uses a proprietary iron mix with the least porosity and greatest consistency possible for an incredibly strong casting. It also includes 4-bolt mains with interference fit nodular iron machined caps, increased main web window size, and rough-honed cylinder bores.

  • Ford Performance Parts 2018 Gen 3 5.0L Coyote Production Cylinder Blocks—Start your build with the same Gen 3 5.0L Coyote cylinder block that can be found on the 2018 Mustang GT 5.0L. Compared with previous GT aluminum blocks, the Gen 3 version offers better durability, heat transfer, friction reduction, and weight savings thanks to a plasma-transferred wire arc spray weld liner coating.

  • Ford Performance Parts 5.2L Gen 3 Coyote Aluminum Engine Blocks—Found in the Shelby GT350 Mustang, the 5.2L Gen 3 Coyote aluminum engine block offers extreme power potential in a 113-lb. package. All features of the block, including the head deck and crank bore, are finish-machined. Other upgrades over earlier generations include 187mm cylinder head bolts for improved clamping force, a strengthened water jacket, and a cast-in brace on the intake side of the bore for improved cylinder wall strength and head gasket sealing.

  • Ford Performance Parts 2.3L Ecoboost Mustang Cylinder Blocks—The L4 cylinder block at the foundation of Ford’s 2.3L Ecoboost Mustang engine offers plenty of performance potential in a turbocharged build. This aluminum block include plugs, dowels, and other production hardware you need.

  • Ford Performance Parts 1.6L Formula Kent Cylinder Blocks—The latest iteration of Ford Performance Parts’ legendary 1.6L Formula Kent bare block features an all-new iron casing that is stronger than the original. Designed to replace production 1.6L Kent blocks for SCCA Formula Ford competition, this engine features a standard 8.200-inch deck height with extra material for decking and cylinder bores that have been semi-finished to 3.185 - 3.187 inches in diameter.

  • Ford Performance Parts 1.6L Lotus Cylinder Blocks—Built with enhancements stemming from years of racing experience, this 1.6L cylinder block features an all-new gray iron casting that is stronger than its predecessor, but still accepts the Lotus cylinder head. Ford Performance Parts added strength around the main bearing webs and reinforced the lower clutch housing bolt bosses for better reliability.
