EMPI Heater Box Delete J Tubes

For vehicles with rusted-out or missing heater boxes where the owner has no need for cabin heat, EMPI's heater box delete J-tubes is a relatively inexpensive alternative to purchasing new heater boxes. The J-tubes directly replace the factory heater boxes, which are no longer functional. These components offer benefits primarily for performance-oriented or custom builds where the stock heating system is not needed, focusing on weight savings and improved accessibility to other engine components, such as the valve covers, starter, clutch adjustments, and fuel lines, making maintenance and adjustments easier. The EMPI J-tubes are manufactured from high-quality tubing, with a thick flange that is TIG-welded for a proper seal. The J-tubes come with gaskets and are designed to fit the upright Type 1 and 2 engines. Sold as a set of two.
