The outside plate has a 5 1/2 in. diameter, while the inside backing plate measures 4 1/2 in. These transom cover plates are manufactured from billet aluminum, and come in a high-polished finish—as well as a variety of anodized and powdercoat colors. Eddie Marine clamp-on exhaust tip flappers are designed to clamp over most exhaust tips. These external flappers are constructed from high-temp rubber and do not use an internal metal plate (which could cause failure). These clamp-on exhaust flappers are available to fit different diameter tips (3 1/2 in. requires slight modification of flap to fit). Tip is not included.
