They are designed to monitor not only exhaust gas, liquid, tire, and track temperatures, but also engine rpm. Computech Clamp-On Temperature Sensors
Computech clamp-on temperature sensors are designed for use with Computech's EGT Plus Series, as well as DataMaxx data logger systems. The probe is a 3/16 in. diameter and utilizes a clamp that expands to 2 1/2 in. The probe lead has a male K-type connector on the end and can easily be shortened to your installation. The Computech clamp-on temperature sensors are designed to be used with regular-octane gasoline, high-octane racing gas, ethanol, methanol, and nitro mixtures. They cannot be used with diesel, as a specific diesel exhaust gas sensor is required.

Your custom 8-cylinder thermocouple kits are available in either the Chevy (1, 3, 5, 7) and (2, 4, 6, 8) configuration or Ford (1, 2, 3, 4) and (5, 6, 7, 8) configuration.
