Cam Motion Junkyard Dog Series Performance LS camshafts are aggressive and powerful cams engineered for carburetor or single-plane intake manifolds. The camshafts are designed to get maximum performance out of your stock short block, while still maintaining acceptable valve clearance without fly-cutting the pistons. They feature Cam Motion's smooth cam lobe design that provides quiet valvetrain operation and excellent upper rpm stability. Junkyard Dog cams are available for cathedral and rectangular port cylinder heads, as well as for nitrous applications. Cam Motion offers the camshafts in 5150 induction-hardened chromium, 8660 induction-hardened nickel-chromium-molybdenum, and their top-of-the-line 8620 carburized nickel-chromium-molybdenum camshaft cores.
