BTR Connecting Rods

BTR connecting rods are state-of-the-art 4340 H-beam rods for your build. They feature heat-treated, stress relieved, and shot peened bodies with bronze bushed pin bores, and the cap and rod are serialized at the parting line to ensure proper mating after disassembly. BTR inspects them for bearing housing and pin bore diameter, bend/twist, and C/L length. Cast from 319 aluminum, these Brian Tooley Racing manifolds are designed for combinations that are looking to make peak power between 6,000 and 8,000 rpm. Boosted engine combinations are actually more reliable making peak power in this higher rpm range, compared to making peak power around 6,500 rpm like most stock style intakes, provided the valve train is engineered properly. BTR Forged Pistons

Brian Tooley Racing and Wiseco have formed a partnership to bring an affordable piston to market for LS engines. Constructed from 2618 forged aluminum, BTR pistons give the consumer options for stock floating pin or aftermarket connecting rods, and stock 3.622 in., 3.625 in., or 4.000 in. crankshaft strokes for a wide variety of applications. Included in the set are .927 piston pins and spiro locks for all 6.125 in. rod applications, while .943 piston pins and OEM-style wire clips are included for all 6.098 in. (stock) rod applications.
