Vintage license plate lights and brackets were once readily available from every speed shop—and every hot rodder had one. Bob Drake decided to bring back this bit of nostalgia. Originally there were two sizes. Drake replicated the small style because it's a lot cleaner. The quality of the originals was poor, so Drake improved the design by stamping it from stainless steel, molded a lens, added a license bracket, molded a rubber pad, tossed in some stainless screws and a 12 Vt bulb. Voila! Perfection achieved.
