ATS Diesel Performance TPS signal conditioners are designed to help repair and prevent hunting in and out of torque converter lockup between 3rd and 4th gears. This is done by conditioning the TPS signal, which allows the transmission to have better shift characteristics. The factory TCM tune is very sensitive. By adding ATS Diesel Performance TPS signal conditioners the signal to the TCM will not be as dramatic.
