All-Pro Off-Road U-Bolt Flip Kits

All-Pro Off-Road offers rear U-bolt flip kits for a variety of 2005-and-up Toyota Tacoma trucks. They kits are offered with or without Timbren bump stops. Here are details on each kit:

** KIT AOF-4400T-AP-05:
All Pro's rear U-bolt flip kit turns the U-bolts upside down so the bolt ends face up and away from rocks. This modification has the dual benefit of preventing damage to U-bolt threads and increasing ground clearance. Pair these with All-Pro universal bump stops (P/N 3700-AP-PR), if desired.

* Kit includes:
-- New heavy-duty U-bolts
-- Hardened U-bolt nuts and washers
-- Heavy-duty U-bolt plates tapped for 3/8 in. bolt (for bump stop installation)

NOTES:
-- Tighten bolts in X pattern until snug and torque U-bolt nuts to 93 lbs.-ft. and re-check torque specs after 100 miles of normal driving
-- Plates ship raw and require paint
-- Will not work with Tundra

** KIT AOF-AP-306735:
For the ultimate in ride quality, combine your U-bolt flip kit with All-Pro's Timbren bump stop kit. The Timbren Suspension Enhancement System utilizes high-grade hollow rubber bump stops to enhance ride quality at the compression end of suspension travel. The open bellows design of Timbren bump stops allows for a progressive force to be exerted on the vehicle's axle … light at first, then increasing in force as the bump stop compresses. The result is a better ride overall and smoother landings on jumps and hard hits. The Timbren bump stops provide performance that cannot be matched by solid urethane bump stops—and at a price that is much more reasonable than expensive hydraulic bump stops.

This complete kit includes a pair of Timbren bump stops with mounting brackets and hardware, heavy-duty U-bolts with nuts and washers, and heavy-duty U-bolt plates that have been modified for use with the Timbren bump stop kit.
