Adding a blow-off valve to your Can-Am Maverick or Polaris RZR turbo system is a great way to improve throttle response and hear that awesome blow-off valve turbo sound. The purpose of a BOV is not just to sound cool, but it is designed to release the pressure that is built up in the charge side of the system. With nowhere to go, the pressure can cause turbulence to the impeller slowing the spool of the turbo down and causing premature wear. By installing a blow-off valve, you can improve boost response, prolong the life of the turbo, and of course, get that cool swoosh sound! The blow-off valves can be used in conjunction with the stock turbo inlet pipe or any aftermarket turbo hose pipe that has a 1 in. BOV flange. Since the factory valve is a diverter valve and this new valve is designed to be 100 percent vent to atmosphere, a high-temp push-on plug cover is included for the eliminated return hose. The valves are machined from 6061 billet aluminum then anodized in a stealth black finish, and the top is laser engraved with the Agency Power cursive logo and directions for adjusting. When the top of the valve rotates, this allows you to adjust the spring tension for your application. You can set the valve to easily vent off pressure or be stiffer to only vent at maximum psi. Agency Power's intercooler race duct covers for the Can-Am Maverick X3 is a product that all X3 owners will want to be equipped with! The Agency Power upgraded intercooler duct cover increases the center scoop from 1.5 in. to 4 in. tall and each side scoop from 1.5 in. to 2 in. with all keeping a 4 inch width. The intercooler duct cover increases the inlet air flow by over 40 percent from 32 cu. in. to 46 cu. in. Made from a durable ABS plastic similar to the stock unit, the duct covers have a smooth black finish and feature the AP logo. The duct covers are designed to fit over the stock intercooler or the Agency Power intercooler. For those that want to customize further, the duct covers can be easily primed and painted by your local paint shop. Each kit comes with everything needed to snap cover into place. If you want to install a blow-off valve on the Can-Am X3, there is one problem … no place for it! However, this is now possible with the Agency Power blow-off valve hose kit and adjustable blow-off valve that is designed to connect to the compressor side of your turbo and the plastic charge tube. The 3-ply silicone tube allows you to install our adjustable blow off valve with a 1 in. flange. The smooth inside of the silicone tube helps eliminate any turbulence caused by OEM corrugated designs. To run a blow-off valve on the X3, you need to pull vacuum which keeps the valve shut under boost. Because there is no pressure source to tap into, a special machined fitting is included which fits on to the intake manifold. The blow-off valve is what separates this Agency Power kit from others. The CNC-machined aluminum valve features a piston and spring design to provide sharp boost response when needed. The spring has been spec'd to accommodate the needs of the Can-Am X3 turbo system. Designed as a vent to atmosphere valve, it releases the built-up charge pressure giving you a loud whoosh sound when you let off the throttle. The top portion of the valve can be turned 360 degrees allowing you to adjust the stiffness of the spring. This gives you the control of when you want the blow-off valve to release pressure. Each valve is anodized black and features the Agency Power cursive logo laser engraved on it.
