AEV offers Crestone DualSport onyx wheels for a variety of vehicles, including Chevrolet and Toyota models. The Crestone's split 6-spoke design gives it an ultra-modern look while providing drivers with the flexibility and versatility that AEV's line of DualSport wheels are known for. These dual-purpose wheels are beadlock-compatible for off-road use, as well as street legal with an interchangeable protection ring. All rings are available separately. Using no rings will offer you a simple, minimalist look. The DOT-compliant AEV Crestone DualSport wheels are made from heat-treated A356 T-6 cast aluminum for maximum strength and minimal weight. After pioneering Geometry Correction Brackets back in 2010, AEV Conversions has raised the bar again with the industry's first Stamped Geometry Correction Brackets. Designed to correct the front-end control arm geometry on vehicles with 2 - 4.5 in. of suspension lift, these brackets improve ride quality by eliminating front axle 'precession' caused by uncorrected suspension lift geometry. The corrected motion allows the front tires to move up and rearward (as they did on the stock vehicle) in response to a bump rather than trying to 'lunge' over it. Additionally, they dramatically reduce front-end 'dive' during hard braking by relocating the 'virtual instant center' of the front suspension. They also provide alignment correction for proper tracking by restoring caster angle without the need for cam bolts or different/adjustable arms—plus a slight reduction in maximum front driveshaft angle during suspension travel. The stamping process provides improved strength while reducing weight, and the new keyed square caster blocks allow for easy "set it and forget it" adjustments rather than round cam bolts that can slip and require special fasteners. AEV's Stamped Geometry Correction Brackets are compatible with both JL Wrangler and Gladiator and are included standard with AEV's 2.5 in. DualSport RT Suspension System for JL Wrangler. These brackets can be added as an option to AEV's 2 in. spacer lift, in addition to other brand suspension systems that also retain the OE front control arms. They feature HSBS—Hot Stamped Boron Steel—construction, an ultra-high strength, press-hardened steel used in automotive applications for passenger impact protection because it is lightweight with an extremely high-yield strength (approximately 200,000 ksi vs. mild steel at 25,000 ksi). Manufactured from 5mm hot stamped boron steel (HSBS), the front skid plates are designed to work with both the RX and EX front bumpers. AEV Conversions high steer kits provide significant improvements to steering precision and handling by correcting the roll center height of the front suspension. Bringing the steering geometry back into factory alignment reduces body roll, bump steer, and roll steer—all major contributors to the loose or sloppy steering and driver fatigue commonly associated with many lift kits. AEV kits include a flipped draglink to improve ground clearance, as well as a heavy-duty steering damper. AEV's high steer kit is included with their 3.5 - 4.5 in. DualSport SC and RS suspensions, but can also be added on to suspensions in the 3.0 - 4.5 in. range from other manufacturers. A minimum of 3.0 in. of jounce bump spacing is required. Designed for specific front and rear axles of several popular trucks and Jeeps, these heavy-duty, high-strength nodular iron covers have a fluid level port or ports placed at the correct level to meet factory specifications (for front or rear), eliminating the need to guess on the oil level or use a dipstick to figure out the correct amount of oil. For added convenience, all differential covers feature American Expedition Vehicles' exclusive oversized oil fill port located on the top of the cover. This fill port not only allows you to easily add fluid in the field if axle repairs are necessary, but also doubles as an inspection port, allowing you to see inside the differential, inspect ring gear teeth, look for water intrusion, or even use a dial indicator to inspect for problems without ever removing the cover. They also feature reinforced bottom edges with recessed hardware and are e-coated and powdercoated for maximum durability.
