AEV Conversions Front Control Arm Drop Brackets

After pioneering Geometry Correction Brackets back in 2010, AEV Conversions has raised the bar again with the industry's first Stamped Geometry Correction Brackets. Designed to correct the front-end control arm geometry on vehicles with 2 - 4.5 in. of suspension lift, these brackets improve ride quality by eliminating front axle 'precession' caused by uncorrected suspension lift geometry. The corrected motion allows the front tires to move up and rearward (as they did on the stock vehicle) in response to a bump rather than trying to 'lunge' over it. Additionally, they dramatically reduce front-end 'dive' during hard braking by relocating the 'virtual instant center' of the front suspension. They also provide alignment correction for proper tracking by restoring caster angle without the need for cam bolts or different/adjustable arms—plus a slight reduction in maximum front driveshaft angle during suspension travel. The stamping process provides improved strength while reducing weight, and the new keyed square caster blocks allow for easy "set it and forget it" adjustments rather than round cam bolts that can slip and require special fasteners. AEV's Stamped Geometry Correction Brackets are compatible with both JL Wrangler and Gladiator and are included standard with AEV's 2.5 in. DualSport RT Suspension System for JL Wrangler. AEV Conversions DualSport XT suspension kits focus on tuning and geometry to deliver added highway and trail performance in a 2.5 in. lift. AEV set out to specially tune coils and shocks that are unique to the needs of a lower system, resulting in frequency-tuned, triple-rate coils at all four corners and custom-tuned Bilstein shocks matched to the coils. They also evaluated the system for cornering and braking and determined that a new, geometry-corrected rear track arm tower would be needed to help create the kind of handling AEV suspension systems are expected to have. A custom rear track-arm, front stabilizer end link relocation brackets, bump stop extensions, and brake line relocation brackets round out the DualSport XT kits. AEV Conversions Differential Covers

AEV Conversions differential covers offer unique features and great looks in an incredibly durable package. Designed for specific front and rear axles of several popular trucks and Jeeps, these heavy-duty, high-strength nodular iron covers have a fluid level port or ports placed at the correct level to meet factory specifications (for front or rear), eliminating the need to guess on the oil level or use a dipstick to figure out the correct amount of oil. For added convenience, all differential covers feature American Expedition Vehicles' exclusive oversized oil fill port located on the top of the cover. This fill port not only allows you to easily add fluid in the field if axle repairs are necessary, but also doubles as an inspection port, allowing you to see inside the differential, inspect ring gear teeth, look for water intrusion, or even use a dial indicator to inspect for problems without ever removing the cover.
