After pioneering Geometry Correction Brackets back in 2010, AEV Conversions has raised the bar again with the industry's first Stamped Geometry Correction Brackets. Designed to correct the front-end control arm geometry on vehicles with 2 - 4.5 in. of suspension lift, these brackets improve ride quality by eliminating front axle 'precession' caused by uncorrected suspension lift geometry. The corrected motion allows the front tires to move up and rearward (as they did on the stock vehicle) in response to a bump rather than trying to 'lunge' over it. Additionally, they dramatically reduce front-end 'dive' during hard braking by relocating the 'virtual instant center' of the front suspension. They also provide alignment correction for proper tracking by restoring caster angle without the need for cam bolts or different/adjustable arms—plus a slight reduction in maximum front driveshaft angle during suspension travel. The stamping process provides improved strength while reducing weight, and the new keyed square caster blocks allow for easy "set it and forget it" adjustments rather than round cam bolts that can slip and require special fasteners. AEV's Stamped Geometry Correction Brackets are compatible with both JL Wrangler and Gladiator and are included standard with AEV's 2.5 in. DualSport RT Suspension System for JL Wrangler. They feature HSBS—Hot Stamped Boron Steel—construction, an ultra-high strength, press-hardened steel used in automotive applications for passenger impact protection because it is lightweight with an extremely high-yield strength (approximately 200,000 ksi vs. mild steel at 25,000 ksi). AEV offers Crestone DualSport onyx wheels for a variety of vehicles, including Chevrolet and Toyota models. The Crestone's split 6-spoke design gives it an ultra-modern look while providing drivers with the flexibility and versatility that AEV's line of DualSport wheels are known for. These dual-purpose wheels are beadlock-compatible for off-road use, as well as street legal with an interchangeable protection ring. All rings are available separately. Designed with the overlander in mind, these frequency-tuned, progressive rate coil springs provide the increased load carrying capacity necessary for heavily loaded vehicles, while still offering exceptional ride quality, handling and off-road articulation. These coil springs are only available as a matching set of front and rear springs in order to preserve optimal vehicle handling dynamics. The relative rate/frequency of the front coil springs vs. the rear springs is a crucial part of safe vehicle handling.
