AEV Conversions JL RX rear bumper tire carriers take all the stress and weight from your oversized spare wheel and tire off the tailgate and on to the frame of the vehicle. This not only offers a more secure mounting solution but will eliminate the risk of damaging your tailgate by overloading it, while still maintaining a one-handed operation. Many of the other signature features from AEV's previous generation tire carrier also carry over, such as mounting provisions on the top of the mast for a reverse/chase light and antennas, as well as a shovel holder behind your spare tire.

AEV Conversions skid plates have your vehicle covered underneath with their variety of heavy-duty plates. They feature HSBS—Hot Stamped Boron Steel—construction, an ultra-high strength, press-hardened steel used in automotive applications for passenger impact protection because it is lightweight with an extremely high-yield strength (approximately 200,000 ksi vs. mild steel at 25,000 ksi). Depending on the vehicle application, some AEV skid plates will be made of steel tubing or 1 in. DOM tubular steel construction and finished with an OEM 2-stage, corrosion-resistant coating.
