DIYAutoTune AMP plug-and-play ECUs are standalone programmable engine control units designed to replace a factory ECU with zero rewiring.
Key features and functions:
* Direct fit: They plug straight into the factory wiring harness and mounting location of specific vehicle models (such as select BMW, Mazda, and Ford applications from the 1980s and up)
* Full control: They provide complete, laptop-based programmatic control over fuel injection, ignition timing, boost control, rev limiters, and auxiliary engine functions
* Integrated wideband option: Many AMP plug-and-play units offer an optional built-in Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband oxygen controller, removing the need for external wiring modules
* In-house manufacturing: These units are engineered as modern alternatives or companions to traditional MegaSquirt-based systems
