This is the 3rd GM truck that I have had Borla exhaust on. All have been exceptional. The sound, look and performance achieved is well worth the money spent. I had the Borla sport on a GMC with the 6.2L but the ATAK on the 5.3L 2017 and 2018 now. The ATAK is my favorite and would highly recommend if you are looking for a classic sporty look and respect demanding sound! Cruising on the highway is a comfortable level then you hear it when you want!

The kit fits perfectly and looks great. It is not nearly as loud as advertised, that being said it has a great tone.

I installed the atak on my 2017 Silverado 1500 LT 5.3L. Now my truck sounds like a truck! Very low noise in the cab. The exhaust doesn't impede on cab conversations at all. When you get on it, anyone outside KNOWS you have a quality aftermarket exhaust! Cruising at 2000 rpm, you can't even hear the exhaust inside the cab. The money is well worth it! The throttle response and extra horsepower are no joke! Getting about +2 mpg vs stock exhaust. MAKE THE PURCHASE! And, Summit is the company to purchase from! They are fast with shipping and it's free! I rate my experience all around as an A++

The Borla ATAK is a great choice for your F150 not just because of its high quality steel, easy installation, and great looks, but because of its sound. simply put the sound is unmatched. The Borla ATAK is very unique as its is quite when in park, cruising speeds, or low RMPs. When you starting give your truck more gas it really wakens up the Borla ATAK sound to give you that big 5.0L sound. For comparison the Borla is more quite compared to the FlowMaster American Thunder at cruising speed and low RPM, but much louder when going through the gears (I previously had the American Thunder). Over all High quality system with an amazing sound that can be quite when needed.
